My first trip in 2013: London

Tomorrow my best friend and I are leaving for a short trip to London. What a great coincidence London Fashion Week kicks of just one day later. I am not sure about the internet conecction in our hotel so make sure to follow me via instagram (@style_sandbox) and twitter (@XMaddalinaX).   

GOLDEN ELEPHANT.

 Here's a super easy and quick DIY for your home. All you need is a toy, some gold spray and something to cover the floor (newspaper will do the job). I really love elephants so I chose one for this DIY project, but you can use any toy you like. 

Now this little guy prettifies our entrance area :D

Minimalism.

I just found my MUST HAVE outfit for the upcoming spring season. Elizabeth&James created the perfect laid-back look with the right quantity of chic and cool. Just the right twist to capture my heart and make me wanna wear flat sandals!

Valentines Craving.

Valentines Day is just around the corner and I wanted to share a little craving list with you. Usually Pink isn't my favorite color but when it comes to Valentines Day I go crazy about girly colors.  I spotted this 3.1 Philip Lim bag the other day and fell in love with the light purple!

Chanel Couture Spring 2013

Oh Chanel, you just know how to capture my heart. Once again, Karl Lagerfeld excelled himself with his spring 2013 couture collection. He presented his creations in an enchanted forest and transformed the models into elegant birds which flew over the runway. You could see a lot of tweed in light and dark colors, floral maxi dresses and almost every model wore courtly peep-toe boots. Care Delevinge closed the show with black eye make-up and black feather details on her hair. You could feel the melancholy of Shakespeare mixed with a touch of Gothic influences, presented in a fairy tale location.
